As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing love stories in some stunning locations, but Sandy Cove Hotel truly stands out as one of the most breathtaking venues I’ve had the pleasure of working at. Situated on the dramatic cliffs of North Devon, Sandy Cove Hotel offers spectacular views of the ocean and the surrounding coastline, making it the perfect backdrop for a wedding celebration. Terri and Sam’s wedding was a beautiful blend of romance, fun, and unforgettable moments that were a joy to capture.

Bridal Prep and Groom Waiting for the Big Moment

Terri and her bridal party spent the morning getting ready in one of the luxurious suites at Sandy Cove Hotel, where natural light filled the room, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, Terri sipped champagne and put the final touches on her elegant look before the ceremony. Meanwhile, Sam waited for his bride with a big smile, standing in front of their guests and the stunning ocean view, his excitement and emotion clear as he eagerly anticipated the moment he’d been waiting for.

The ceremony took place at Sandy Cove Hotel’s stunning cliffside terrace, with the panoramic ocean views providing a breathtaking backdrop. The wind gently swept through the air as Terri walked down the aisle, her gown flowing gracefully behind her. As Sam saw his bride, their eyes met, and you could feel the emotion in the air - the joy, the love, and the commitment. With vows exchanged and rings placed, the couple became husband and wife, and the joy of the moment was shared by all in attendance.

After the ceremony, we took advantage of the stunning surroundings to capture some intimate couple portraits. Sandy Cove’s coastal landscape, with its dramatic rocks and endless views of the sea, provided the perfect setting for Terri and Sam’s photos. A short two minute drive to the nearest beach, the couple embraced the beauty of the rocky coastline as we captured moments of love and laughter, with the crashing waves in the background creating the most magical atmosphere. The natural beauty of the rocks added a touch of romance and rugged elegance to their portraits.
