Bradstone Manor Farm Wedding Photography - Alba & Josh
Some weddings are just on another level, and Alba and Josh’s was definitely one of them. Not only was it a two-day celebration across two counties, but it also had perfect weather, emotional moments, and a whole lot of dancing. From a beautiful church ceremony close to home to the full-on party at Bradstone Manor Farm, this was the kind of wedding you don’t forget in a hurry.
I absolutely loved being part of it. When couples give themselves the time and space to celebrate properly like this, it gives me the chance to capture so many different layers of the story. Alba and Josh brought their people together in such a thoughtful, creative way, and I was genuinely honoured to be there for it all.
A Sentimental Start Close to Home
Day one began with a ceremony just down the road from where I live, which already made it feel personal. The church was filled with emotion and meaning for the couple and their families, and you could tell it wasn’t just a beautiful setting… it was part of their story. It really grounded the celebration in something deeper.
A Stop at the Sourdown Tap for Drinks and Music
Before heading to Devon, everyone gathered at the Sourdown Tap for a relaxed little celebration. There was music, drinks, and that buzz of excitement you get when something special is just getting started. I loved capturing the smiles and spontaneous moments in between. These are the kind of memories that really stick.
A Barn Full of Style at Bradstone Manor
Bradstone Manor Farm was the perfect space for Alba’s creative vision. She brought so much personality to the styling… thoughtful details, artistic touches, and a feel that made the barn look effortlessly cool. With the countryside just outside and everything flowing so smoothly, it made photographing the day an absolute dream.
A Tractor Arrival and Full-Hearted Emotions
Nothing says rural Devon wedding like arriving by tractor, and honestly, it was brilliant. From that point on, the energy just kept building - smiles, happy tears, belly laughs, all of it. It was one of those days where emotions ran high and no one held back, and I was there for every second.
A Dance Floor That Didn’t Quit
Once the music kicked in, that was it - the dance floor never emptied. The mix of classic bangers, emotional singalongs and some excellent moves made it one of the best dance floor atmospheres I’ve seen in a while. Everyone was all in, and I couldn’t stop grinning behind the camera.
A Personal Nod to Josh’s Military Journey
As a military wedding, there were a few lovely, understated nods to Josh’s background. It wasn’t overdone, it was meaningful in a way that reflected who he is and what that part of his life represents. Little touches like that always add depth to a day, and I loved being able to capture it.
