Guildhall Bath Wedding Photography - Sian & Zack
This one was special. Sian and Zack’s wedding was genuinely one of the most unique, heartfelt days I’ve had the joy of photographing. They threw tradition out the window and did it entirely their way, and it suited them perfectly. From a quiet bookshop moment to a scenic boat cruise along the River Avon, every part of their celebration felt calm, intentional, and completely personal.
There’s something really special about couples who build a wedding around what feels right for them, not just what’s expected. These two absolutely nailed that.
Photos in Their Favourite Bookshop
We kicked off the day in the cosiest way, with portraits inside Sian and Zack’s favourite bookshop in Bath. The shelves, the quiet light, the gentle sense of nostalgia... it was magic. I love when couples incorporate little places that mean something to them, it always makes the photos more meaningful.
Morning Portraits Through Quiet Bath Streets
After that, we wandered through Bath before the crowds arrived, capturing a relaxed set of portraits in the morning light. There’s something really calming about exploring a city you know well before the day properly begins. It gave Sian and Zack time to just be together, take it all in, and ease into the day ahead.
Saying ‘I Do’ at Guildhall Bath
The ceremony itself was held at the beautiful Guildhall, right in the heart of Bath. With its Georgian architecture and warm stone interiors, it’s such a striking space, but the real beauty came from the way Sian and Zack looked at each other. I could tell this moment had been a long time coming, and it was a privilege to witness it.
A River Avon Cruise to Celebrate
After the ceremony, all the guests were treated to something completely different, a relaxed cruise along the River Avon, gliding under the world-famous Pulteney Bridge. With drinks in hand and the sunshine reflecting off the water, it was the perfect breather between the ceremony and the evening do. I had so much fun capturing everyone just taking it all in.
Finishing the Day at the Pub
To wrap it all up, Sian and Zack headed to The Boater for a proper Bath-style celebration. No stress, no timelines, just great company, music, and the kind of laughter that fills a room. It felt like exactly the right way to end their day: relaxed, meaningful, and full of warmth.
Conclusion:
Sian and Zack’s wedding reminded me that the best celebrations are the ones that feel true to you. Every part of their day… books, boats, laughter, and love. It was intentional and full of heart. I’m so grateful to have been invited along to document it all.
