Hannah and Ben’s wedding at Grays Barn had all the ingredients of a brilliant barn wedding day, even if the weather tried to do its own thing. The skies were a bit mixed, but honestly, you would never have known from the mood of everyone there. From the second I arrived, there was such a good energy around the place… loads of laughter, people looking out for each other, and that nice feeling you get when a wedding already feels like it’s going to be properly enjoyed.

Once the ceremony got going, the whole room seemed to lift with it. There were smiles everywhere, a few emotional moments, and that kind of happy energy that makes people lean forward and really take it all in. One of the things I really liked about this wedding was how naturally the styling fitted the venue. We still managed to make the most of the grounds around Grays Barn, and it was well worth it. The greenery, the pathways, and the wider countryside setting gave us plenty to work with, even with the less-than-perfect weather. Hannah and Ben were really easy together, which always makes portraits feel more natural. I always think our natural style shines in barn settings like this, where couples can just relax into the space and be themselves.
