What a feeling. It still feels surreal to say it out loud, Just James Weddings has won a Hitched Wedding Award for the second year in a row!
Back when I started this business, I had no idea how far it would go or how quickly it would grow. What I did know is that I wanted to build something personal. Something honest, joyful, and full of meaning for the couples I work with. Fast forward to now, with dozens of weddings photographed, stories captured across the UK, and a second award in hand, I’m just incredibly grateful.
This win means more than just a badge on a website. It’s a reminder that the way I work, the energy I bring, and the care I put into every gallery genuinely makes a difference. And that, to me, is everything.

As I look ahead to 2026, I’m feeling more focused and motivated than ever. The first wedding of the year kicks off in February, and after that, things ramp up quickly with a season full of brilliant couples and beautiful plans. This quieter winter period is the perfect time to reset, reflect, and refine what I bring to each day. Because while the awards are lovely, it’s the experience I create for every couple, start to finish, that really matters.
What This Means Going Forward
This award isn’t just a reflection of the past, it’s fuel for the future. I’m heading into 2026 with 42 weddings already booked, and I know it’s going to be another full, beautiful, and varied year of love stories.
But more than that, I’m heading into it with fresh motivation, more confidence, and a deeper appreciation for every couple who chooses to invite me into their day. That trust will never be taken for granted.
