Wick Farm Bath Wedding Photography - Hollie & Lee
From the moment they booked back in December ’23, I had a good feeling about these two. And after a year of baked bean jokes and wedding build-up, I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier couple to spend the day with.
Hollie and Lee’s wedding at Wick Farm Bath had everything you could ask for, autumn colours, happy tears, loads of laughter, and just the right amount of chaos on the dance floor. It was one of those days where everything fell into place, and even the weather played along. The rain held off just long enough to let the golden light spill through, giving us that dreamy countryside glow that makes Wick Farm such a brilliant venue to photograph.
A Cosy Autumn Wedding That Felt Just Right
There’s something about an autumn wedding at Wick Farm that really sets the tone. The barn looked gorgeous, with warm colours, seasonal florals, and that gentle countryside stillness you only get this time of year. I could tell right from the start that the whole day would feel relaxed and full of heart, and it really was.
Personal Touches and Inside Jokes
Hollie and Lee had personal touches scattered throughout the day, and I loved how everything felt genuinely them. There were little nods to their sense of humour, and of course, the ongoing baked bean banter, which, for the record, I’m still mildly disappointed didn’t involve an actual tin. Joking aside, these two didn’t try to be anything but themselves, and that kind of authenticity always makes the day feel extra special.
A Wedding That Was Just So Them
This was one of those weddings that didn’t feel like it was trying to tick boxes. It was fun, relaxed, and full of love in all the right places. I walked away feeling like I’d just spent the day with old friends, and I think that says a lot about the energy Hollie and Lee created.
A Surprise Appearance from Carl and Russell
One of the more unexpected moments came courtesy of two very recognisable guests - Carl and Russell from Up. It turns out the film is a firm favourite of theirs, and their arrival brought smiles all round. No Dug the dog, unfortunately, but I think we can all agree it was a brilliant touch.
Dance Floor Mayhem in the Best Way
Once the DJ kicked off and the lights went down, the party well and truly started. There were arms in the air, shoes abandoned under tables, and guests who gave the dance floor everything they had. I stayed a little longer than planned just to capture the chaos, and I’m so glad I did.
Bird’s Eye Confetti View – Watch the Moment
One of my favourite parts of the day was capturing Hollie and Lee’s confetti walk from above. If you fancy seeing it from a whole new angle, I’ve popped the drone footage into a short reel so you can relive that moment from the sky.
Have a watch below and enjoy the view!
Conclusion
Wick Farm Bath was the perfect setting for a day that had laughter, love, and just the right amount of silliness. Hollie and Lee, thank you for trusting me to be part of it all, and for the many laughs along the way.
I’m still waiting on that baked bean card…
