Rock Village Hall Wedding Photography - Aaron & Jack
Aaron and Jack’s wedding at Rock Village Hall was such a brilliant one to photograph. I’d first met them at a wedding fair in Bristol, then got to know them a little better during their pre-wedding shoot, so arriving in Worcestershire for the big day felt like the next part of a story I’d already been lucky enough to follow.
They were surrounded by the people who mattered most, Milo was there for some of the photos, and the whole day moved from a warm, personal ceremony into a properly lively celebration. Add in classical music, a lovely stretch of golden-hour light and views across the countryside, and it gave us plenty to work with.
A Relaxed Start Before the Celebrations Began
The start of Aaron and Jack’s day had such a calm, easy feel to it. I spent time capturing the little details, the final touches, and those quieter moments before everyone gathered for the ceremony. There was already plenty of excitement building, but nothing felt rushed, which gave the day a really lovely beginning and set the tone for everything that followed.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Their Favourite People
The ceremony was spot on. Aaron and Jack stood together in front of their closest friends and family, with the countryside stretching out behind them and so many happy faces gathered around. It felt warm, relaxed and full of support from everyone there. I loved photographing the reactions around them as much as the ceremony itself. There were proud smiles, plenty of laughter and that lovely moment afterwards when the whole crowd gathered around to celebrate properly.
Milo Joining the Wedding Photos
Milo was, quite rightly, included in the day and brought plenty of personality to the photos. Dogs have a brilliant way of making portraits feel less formal because couples naturally relax, laugh, and focus on them rather than the camera. The open grounds at Rock Village Hall gave us plenty of space to include him without forcing the moment. Some of the photos with Milo feel especially personal because he is clearly such an important part of Aaron and Jack’s life together.
Classical Music, Speeches and a Celebration With Character
The classical band added something really distinctive to the atmosphere. It gave the drinks reception a lovely soundtrack while guests chatted, caught up and enjoyed the countryside setting around the venue. Later, the speeches brought plenty of humour and emotion before the celebration shifted towards the party. I always enjoy days where the entertainment feels chosen because the couple genuinely loves it, and this wedding had that sense of personality throughout.
Golden-Hour Portraits Across the Worcestershire Countryside
The golden-hour portraits were one of my favourite parts of the day. We stepped away for a short wander while the evening light softened across the fields, giving Aaron and Jack a few minutes together away from the crowd. The countryside surrounding Rock Village Hall looked gorgeous at that time of day. The open views, long grass and warm light gave the portraits a natural, relaxed feel, without needing to take them far from their guests.
A Party That Was Always Going to Get Wild
By the time the evening properly got going, there was no doubt where the night was heading. The dance floor filled, the energy lifted, and guests were completely up for celebrating Aaron and Jack. From the photographs alone, you can see how much fun everyone was having. It was the perfect contrast to the quieter moments earlier in the day, and such a good way to finish a wedding that already had so much warmth and personality.
A Rural Worcestershire Wedding Venue With Proper Views
Rock Village Hall sits in a beautiful rural part of Worcestershire, with wide countryside views that immediately give the day a relaxed, away-from-it-all feel. It is a popular and proudly LGBTQ-inclusive wedding venue, which makes it a welcoming choice for couples who want to celebrate openly and comfortably with their family and friends. I really liked how the venue gave Aaron and Jack plenty of room to make the day their own. The outdoor space worked brilliantly for their ceremony and drinks, while the hall gave everyone somewhere to gather once the celebrations moved inside.
Conclusion
Aaron and Jack’s Rock Village Hall wedding was full of everything that makes a wedding memorable. A personal ceremony, a welcoming LGBTQ-inclusive venue, countryside views, Milo joining the photos, golden-hour light and a crowd who knew how to celebrate.
