What a day for Chessie and James at the stunning Rockbeare Manor. From heartfelt first looks to golden hour magic (with a little hayfever thrown in), this was a celebration filled with emotion, elegance, and just the right amount of fun. Their pup Toby even made a guest appearance, stealing hearts left and right. It was such a joy to photograph my first wedding at Rockbeare Manor, and I honestly can’t wait to go back.

Elegant Prep and Portraits at Rockbeare Manor

Rockbeare Manor was the perfect setting for getting ready and portraits, with its light-filled rooms and crisp white walls. The morning felt calm but full of anticipation, and the elegant backdrop made every photo feel timeless. It’s one of those venues that just makes everything look and feel special.

First Look Moments Full of Hearts

One of the most touching parts of the morning was seeing Chessie share first look moments with her bridesmaids, and mum. Each one brought out so much emotion, and you could feel just how loved she is. These are the kinds of moments that remind you what weddings are really about - connection, family, and joy.

A Special Guest Everyone Loved

Toby the Dalmatian made a star appearance during the day, and it’s safe to say he was adored by all. Including a beloved pet is such a sweet way to bring even more personality into your wedding. Plus, it made for some unforgettable (and very cute) photo moments.

Private Vows and Golden Hour Romance

Taking a moment for private vows added such an intimate, personal touch to the day. It gave Chessie and James space to connect with each other away from the crowd, which is something I always encourage if it feels right for you. Later that evening, the golden hour was pure magic - soft sunlight, open fields, and even a bit of hayfever that made it feel real and completely theirs.

Evening Celebrations That Brought the House Down

As the sun set over Rockbeare Manor, the atmosphere shifted into full party mode. There were big laughs, great tunes, and the kind of dance floor energy that you never want to end. From heartfelt speeches to joyful movement, the reception was the perfect ending to a truly incredible day.

Conclusion

Photographing Chessie and James’ wedding at Rockbeare Manor was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. The love, the light, the laughter - it all came together so beautifully in such an elegant and relaxed setting. It’s one of those weddings I won’t forget any time soon.
