Joanna and Mark’s wedding at Kingscote Barn was the kind of day that just felt good from start to finish. Surrounded by loved ones of all ages, their celebration was full of laughter, joy, and plenty of heart. From DIY details to dance floor energy, every part of their wedding reflected who they are, down-to-earth, warm, and completely in love. Kingscote Barn provided the perfect backdrop for it all, and I already can’t wait to be back.

At Kingscote Barn in the Cotswolds, I take a relaxed, natural, and documentary-led approach to wedding photography, allowing the day to keep its own rhythm while I document the people and moments that make it personal. For Joanna and Mark, that meant having their celebration captured beautifully without losing the warm, down-to-earth character of the day.

The morning prep had such a lovely energy, calm but filled with excitement as everything slowly came together. From quiet moments between Joanna and her closest friends to Mark’s final touches before heading to the barn, there was a gentle rhythm to the morning that set the tone for the rest of the day. As a photographer, these early hours always feel special, full of anticipation and emotion.

It was the kind of wedding that made everyone feel included, whether you were five or eighty-five.
