2025 was my biggest wedding photography year yet, and honestly, one of the most rewarding. From 33 weddings and 9 engagement shoots to winning an award and guesting on a podcast, it’s been a year of growth, gratitude, and a lot of laughter. I travelled over 3,000 miles, photographed at 23 venues, and delivered more memories than I can count. The energy, the banter, and the real moments made it unforgettable. Here’s a look back at the stats, the milestones, and the magic.

From shooting just five weddings to heading into a 40-wedding year, it’s been four incredible years for Just James Weddings. With nearly 100 celebrations captured, 2024 brought award wins, venue recommendations, and even a first destination wedding booked. Matthew and Michaela’s wedding at The Mill House on the Isle of Man was one of those unforgettable days, full of heart, laughter, and a touch of golden hour magic. From a rainy start to a joy-filled dance floor, the whole celebration was relaxed, emotional, and full of meaning. Their daughter Wren was right at the heart of it all, making the day feel even more personal. For me, reconnecting with Matthew after 18 years made it even more special. This wasn’t just a wedding, it was a story, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it.
