Farrington's Farm Wedding Photography - Jade & Greg
You know those wedding days where, halfway through, you stop and think, “This is completely mad… and completely brilliant”? That was Jade and Greg’s wedding at Farrington’s Farm. It had so many parts to it that on paper probably should not all go together, but somehow they absolutely did. A home wedding feel, a ceremony in a poly tunnel, handmade details, sea shanties, family everywhere, and then portraits involving cows and a JCB because of course there were.
What I loved most was how naturally the whole day reflected them. Nothing felt overthought, it just felt full of personality and built around the people and moments that mattered most. Their wedding at Farrington’s Farm in Bristol had loads of charm, loads of warmth, and the sort of atmosphere that made it a joy to photograph.
A Relaxed Home Wedding Feel at Farrington’s Farm
Right from the start, this wedding had that lovely home wedding where people are properly settled in and actually enjoying the day, such a creative and memorable way to use the space. Even though it was at Farrington’s Farm, it had that same personal feeling you get when a wedding feels built around the couple and their people. Everyone seemed comfortable, involved, and ready for a celebration that was always going to be anything but ordinary.
A Poly Tunnel Ceremony at Farrington’s Farm
The ceremony in the poly tunnel was one of those moments that really made the whole day stand out. For a Farrington’s Farm wedding, it was such a good use of the space and it gave the ceremony its own unique character straight away. It felt intimate, creative, and a bit wild in the best way, with all the greenery and natural textures making it feel really special. It is not every day I get to photograph a wedding ceremony in a poly tunnel, and honestly, it worked so well.
Celebrating With the People Who Matter Most
One of the nicest things about Jade and Greg’s wedding was how clearly it was centred around the people closest to them. Family and friends were not just there to watch it all happen, they were a huge part of what made the day feel the way it did. There was loads of laughter, loads of chatting, and that kind of easy closeness that makes a wedding feel genuinely joyful to photograph.
Handmade Touches, Sea Shanties and Family-Led Moments
This day really did have everything. Handmade axes, sea shanties, secret meetings, one sibling officiating, another DJing later on… every time I turned around, there was something else going on. But that is exactly why it was so much fun to photograph. It never felt like a standard wedding day, and all those personal touches made it feel completely unforgettable.
A JCB Ride, Cows and Portraits Around Farrington’s Farm
The portraits around Farrington’s Farm were such a highlight because they leaned fully into the setting. We had the open fields, the farm surroundings, the cows, and then of course the JCB, which made for some of the most memorable photos of the whole day. It is not every couple who can say they climbed into a telehandler basket in full wedding attire, and somehow, even that felt completely natural for them. Those portraits ended up being fun, relaxed, and so full of personality, which really sums up the whole day.
Final Thoughts
Jade and Greg’s Farrington’s Farm wedding was one of those days I know I’ll remember for a long time. It had loads of heart, loads of personality, and so many moments that felt completely personal to them. From the poly tunnel ceremony to the sea shanties to those brilliant portraits out by the cows and JCB, it was a proper celebration.
